I discovered a rather strange bug in our backup rotation. We are making
backups daily and rotating Firewire drives weekly where the backup is
stored. I took a look in the vaults recently only to discover that
backups were only stored for every other day. This has been happening
for the last two weeks, though images from previous weeks are stored for
every day. I have not done anything to change this and I haven't found
in the logs about this. Normally I get an e-mail from any cron jobs
that had problems. My cron line looks like this:

20 1 * * * root dirvish-expire --quiet; dirvish-runall --quiet
